Jeff Hardy teaming up with his brother Matt Hardy formed an acrobatic tag team called 'The Hardy Boyz' and hired Michael Hayes as their manager. In July of 1999, 'The Hardy Boyz' defeated the Acolytes winning their first WWF Tag Team Championship. In 2000, Jeff Hardy and his brother Matt hired Lita, their real-life friend as their manager; and the trio came to be known as 'Team Xtreme'. Jeff & Matt defeated their opponents Edge & Christian twice in 2000 for the WWF Tag Team Titles. After Lita, Jeff Hardy hired the services of Trish Stratus and later Terri to be their managers.
Jeff Hardy became famous for his deadly stunts in the Tables, Ladders, and Chairs {TLC} matches during the years from 2000 to 2001. Known for his most unorthodox movies Jeff Hardy went on to win the WWF Intercontinental Championship by defeating Triple H; the Light Heavyweight Championship defeating Jerry Lynn and Hardcore Championship defeating Mike Awesome and Van Dam on two separate occasions in 2001.
Jeff Hardy continued to entertain and delight millions of wrestling fans with his dangerous stunts and wonderful wrestling skills that comprises finishing moves such as Twist of Fate the front facelock that drops into a cutter; Reverse of Fate the inverted facelock neckbreaker slam; Swanton Bomb the high-angle senton bomb; Spine Line the armlock cloverleaf; 450° splash that he employed during the late 1990s. Jeff Hardy's stunning signature moves include Snap reverse powerbomb; Double knee facebreaker, Leg–feed spinning mule kick, Sitout jawbreaker, Whisper in the Wind, Double leg roll-up pin, Sitout inverted suplex slam, Horizontal baseball slide and several other moves that Jeff Hardy employs in a stunning manner.
Jeff Hardy, the fearless wrestler garnered multiple championship titles such as WWF Hardcore Championship three times; WWF/E Intercontinental Championship four times; WWF/E World Tag Team Championship - with Matt Hardy six times.
Jeff Hardy also won championships such as WCW Tag Team Championship - with Matt Hardy; WWF Light Heavyweight Championship; WWE Championship; WWE European Championship; Seventh Grand Slam Champion; Eighteenth Triple Crown Championship. Jeff also won Wrestling Observer Newsletter awards' Best Flying Wrestler in 2000 and Slammy Award for Extreme Moment of the Year in 2008.
